    ...I figured it was something like that but again, that's why it's referred to as an "earned run average". Like I said, Betances has had a few hiccups and erratic performances lately too...but both pitchers are better than they have been recently.
    ...I not worried about either of them because again, I know they're better...and if the offense does not wake the hell up, the pitching won't matter much anyway. I also know that McCann, Ellsbury, Gardner, et al, are all better players than they've shown recently...just gotta hope that the worm will finally turn.

    Cubs = 41-18
    Jays = 40-17
    Pirates = 37-22
    Rangers = 37-22
    Mets 36-22
    Cards = 34-23
    Dodgers = 33-25
    Royals = 33-26
    Angels = 30-29
    Astros = 28-29
    Yankees = 29-30

    and all this time I thought ERA stood for: "erratic run average", didn't MLB change that just this year.....?

    At the beginning of this Season, several of us, made predictions as to the amount of games this team would Win.

    During last nights ball-game, Donnie said, in the NLDS vs the Mets, the Bums are going with a 3 man rotation:

    1- Kershaw
    2- Greinke
    3- TBD
    4- Kershaw
    5- Greinke

    bold move, or foolish one....??? A risk, could be? Yet, I kind of like this bold move; kind of in the same vein (or vain?) of CG SP's.......(tho' we all know, they've gotta' use their BP 2)......

    time will tell vain like foolish, or vein like the desperate Heart of Winning.....
