Reading the game recap CC the Big Donkey stated he'd lost command of his fastball. Betcha he doesn't lose command of his paychecks. Recap also mentioned the outstanding catch Williams made saying it was the highlight play of the day. MLB Quick Pitch showed a Joey Votto play as the #1 highlight play. When showing the game play they did show Williams catch, pretty damn good one to save the Donkeys bacon at the time. Also showed Tex & McCann watching that foul later hit for the bomb. Tex has made bonehead outcome affecting plays on consecutive night against a team the Yankees need to beat. Other failures to step up shows this team is playing scared. Pretty God Damn pathetic. At least Girardi stated that the play should have been made instead of saying that Tex & McCann made a superb effort.
Decisions, decisions, decisions.....CC, you are so overpaid....You must be taken out of the rotation, you are embarrassing (yourself, your teammates, the Yankee fans).
In all honestly, had Guggenheim of Bought the Yanx in lieu of the Bums, that's exactly what his Modus Operandi IS. Pay those washed up to sit at home, or trade Players, while paying 3/4ths of their salary the 1st Year..... IMO, Guggenheim is making a mockery out of MLB, and this is one way how.... altho' in all honesty, I'd like to see restructuring of long term contracts, back to the Pay for Performance Debate...........1 the MLBA would fight til death, to prevent, yet the fairest way of pay, or compensation there is. Of course Legit DL injuries; require compensation, if one is on the DL, yet flat out losing one's Mojo shouldn't require any team to pay a dead horse's salary.....
Yep, it's no longer "too early" (imo) to make any definitive judgements on CC. The best I'm hoping/expective the rest of the way from CC is 1/3 of his starts being "good" - OR, 2/3 of his starts being "decent".
