And to add fuel to the fire the Astros are leading 6-1 in the 8th inning.

I knew this was going to happen as a result of Girardi's nonsense, All down to Sunday with me watching Football and just peeking at the scores because I don't give a rats ass anymore where they play.

Funny you should say that Lillie because neither does Girardi.

Well it's true Rick. He has proven down the stretch that he is a complete idiot. Can't stomach even listening to him speak anymore.

OK Girardi, here's your 2015 team, first base excepted an infield of 4 Ryan , Drew and Gregorius, who can not hit, Headley who can sometimes hit but not catch. An outfield of 4 Gardner & Ellsbury streaky at the plate and fail in the clutch, Beltran who's shaky in the field, Young who shows up occasionally. For your pitchers here's 6 starters only two with the capability to consistently get to seven inning. To cover that liability we've furnished you with a fine crew of long relievers who flame more than JP-4. On top of that you'll get nothing at deadline but we may get some rookies in there. And for future reference you'll be pleased to know that the big three veterans Tex, CC, and Ahole will be back in '16 so make your plans. Now take that train wreck and get us a championship. I know that Girardi makes some moves that blow my mind, but the Yankee Brass gave him a commode loaded with shit and no plunger to clear it up. And if you find the same situation pending for 16 blame the Steins and the GM.

...said it before, if the Yanx fail again, Girardi will be this year's scape goat.

I think when the dust settles it will boil down to the Yankees being a team that overachieved for a stretch with Tex and Arod carrying the offense. Toronto had a better offense to begin with and they made moves on that to add depth to that. The addition of Price to their staff was an obvious game changer. They also got a pitcher back from injury that further bolstered the staff. Put together the fact that the Yankees made no moves and then got hit with injuries to Tex and Eovaldi and what was to be expected? Thankfully Bird and Severino did contribute what they did because this team doesn't make the playoffs without them. That's shows how volatile this roster was all season long without the kids adding a boost.

...^^^and don't forget Ben Revere...he's been another huge addition since the Jays acquired him.
