Yanks Daily, how do you feel about A-Roid being 0-8 with 6 K's?

I love the challenge system in the NFL. Makes me want to walk around with a red flag everywhere.

A-rod came through tonight when the Yankees needed him most. I didn't like him being 0-for-8 but now that has changed and so has the whole World Series.

Yeah A-Rod has bounced back well. He had that huge RBI tonight, and the homerun yesterday. Not to mention the three bases he took after being hit by a pitch.

You seem to be a bandwagoner of some sorts. I don't doubt your Yankee loyalty, but you never post after they lose.

 That was towards Yankees Daily, sorry!

I just wonder why he never posts after they lose.

Well it looks like the Yankees are going to lose tonight and there will be a game six.

I'm glad Philly won't lose this in Philly.

Hopefully they can force a game 7. That is all I want.

I'll tell ya. The Philly bull pen is terrible. I don't see them holding down the Yankees two games in a row.

Agree completely. It might actually be worse than the Angels' pen.

The Phils' need to hope for some big offensive explosion to put the game out of reach. Those left handed power hitters need to bring it hard in game 6. Utley, Howard, and Ibanez need to get good contact and drive the ball out to RF.

Did you hear what Cole Hamels said to his teammates? He told them he wished the season was over already and didn't want the series to head back to NY. What happened to this guy?

I was surprised when I read that about Hamels as well. Today he cleared the air with his coach however and said he wants the ball in game seven.

Hamels was quoted as saying that he is ready for the season to be over because of the burden and the stress. Honestly, I can't blame him. It's been a long year for him and his son was just born, I can understand were he is coming from.

Him and I think it was Moyer got into it last night.

That is a crock of shit out his mouth. It's the freakin' World Series and your team has a chance to win still and HE has a chance to be the Game 7 pitcher. Adrenaline alone should carry him past any burden or stress. You can't make those comments in the locker room.

I agree. But I can also see his view point. He's got a new born @ home, a WS ring already, and he's had a bad year.

    Matsui two-run homerun, wow.

Fought off Pedro well in that long at-bat.

Matsui with two more RBI's in a bases loaded situation!

Down 0-2 in the count but still pulled it off.

    4-1 after three innings.
