...after wrongly removing Warren from the starting rotation in June, Cashman decides a week or so ago that since Eovaldi was shut down, Warren would be "stretched out" to be inserted back into the starting rotation...ONE appearance since then of 2 2/3 innings of work Warren is again thrown back into the starting job...that's how you "stretch out" a pitcher? ...great job Cashman. Looks like you might have screwed up yet another young pitcher with your crack head reasoning.
He played a great third base last year and this year it's like he forgot how to play the position. Physically, he no longer can do it otherwise I'd say put Arod in there. Otherwise Headley has been absurd. I mean that's 22 errors now and that doesn't count all of his bad throws Tex and Bird have dug out of the dirt.
Since things got messed up with that extra inning double header with Toronto. Couldn't they have used one of their minor league guys to make a start instead of doing this?
warren was not slated to be a starter this year, he knew/knows his role, as a starter he filled in admirably, when he was put back to his original role he has not been as effective, how is that cashmans fault?
^^^uhhh, Warren began the year as a starter...started about a dozen games and did very well and had an ERA of 3.59...he should have never been removed from the starter's role to begin with. ...learn the game..
...no you didn't...and your trollish ways are really not worth wasting any more of my time and bandwidth on.
That was an impressive AB from Bird. Something like ten or eleven pitches until he got his pitch and killed it.
