I hear you but he plays CF so serves a purpose in that regard I guess. Ryan could and should be sent packing. He's more of an automatic out than anyone right now. I'm not sticking up for Drew but at least he's coming off his best month of the season and hasn't been completely hideous.

I agree that someone needs to put Ortiz on his ass. Just enough to back him off the plate.

...Noel probably won't even see any ABs...and he was not brought up for his bat (he's 5 for 50 this year) or the fact that he play's CF...he was brought up as a pinch runner.

^^^^^ sorry, 59? Nonsense. Just let it go. Nothing has
stopped you from venting before. Besides, you make
a case for Cashman not having a full deck.

Ryne Duren, that guy was flat out scary. Drysdale, had no problems drilling someone if the y took too much of the plate. One issue I have with Girardi is that he maintains Torres old gentleman rules. That Home run total that Big Sloppi has against Yankee pitching is totally Gross. Dusting guys like Bautista, Longoria, and Big Sloppi will keep them honest and make them cry. I don't advocate head hunting, just a good dust off to keep them honest. Saw Bird do mea culpas on River Avenue Blues video saying he had to do better but a rook is a rook, glad to see him up though hope he'll make some quick adjustments.

Brush back Ortiz? I want to see those chin whiskers
shake his ass to the ground. I bet he'd have a tough
time getting up. I want to see this just once.......

Good- They should put Pirela at 2b and leave him there for awhile.
Was batting .330 at AAA with OPS over .800.
He deserves a shot at replacing a .200 hitter as much as any other player from their minor leagues.

Hit over .300 there last year as well which makes it seem like a great decision to deal with Drew and Ryan for so long.

Five of six struck out, going to be a long night up there, and Toronto is up on Cleveland 1-0. Pineda better pitch his ass off.

utterly another dumb; Pathetic move or lack thereof on Trashman's part; to refuse Judge......one may call it, an "Obstruction of Justice", ......

don't diss the Judge- said the Joker to the Thief......

...lol...Pirela isn't good at all and is not an upgrade at 2B, neither at bat nor in the field (negative defensive WAR)...and he's already shown that this year with the Yanx. (.212 .232 .303 .535)...that's Drew/Ryan territory...and both Drew and Ryan are light years better defensively.

Not good if Tex is weeks away. That production will be dearly missed in the final month.

*(1) It wouldn't surprise me, if anyone has their heads as far up their asses; as Trashman, it'd be the Press.....

*(2) Great Point, A-Roid avg the last month is .156
Tex, close to the same, .148
    While the Team's August B'Avg is: 238, .002 pts higher than April-015

*(3) I had never heard the term- "chin music" until I listened to a Bums game in the early 60s, when Drysdale was on the mound.......I wouldn't be surprised if it were for Drysdale's sake, the moniker was penned.......

I can't believe that Pineda gave up a bomb to that punk Bradley. Two hits for the Yankees both singles, Yankees making Porcello look like Cy Young tonight.

    I'd give Shrek NO respect......
Too bad we can't recall Dock Ellis, the 3 Hitter comes to mind, not a game in which he gave up but 3 hits, but the one where he swore he was going to (literally), mow each batter down........

    http://thestacks.deadspin.com/eleven-pitches-three-hit-batters-the-day-dock-ellis-w-1695974523

I understand, its not proper to throw at anyone's head, let alone advocate such,

so, I'll advocate for ya' if you don't mind.......

Will someone please throw Shrek some Chin Music, and not stop until he lays in the dirt crying for Mama?........., like a Silver Back is squeezing His balls.........on 2nd thought, Ortiz has no balls, they shrank......
