Hold on to your hats, Yankee fans. Guess who Cashman is strongly pursing? None other than another
overpriced under-performing player who only swings for the fences, yet strikes out like the pitiful
Giancarlo Stanton, can’t field a lick, and has mainly been a cancer on every team he’s played on.......
Oh & he’s a supposed OFer by the name of Yasiel Puig! Can’t make this shit up!

Ok.....He is delusional, but nowhere near Trumps' status. Besides, we do not need philosophers.

Meh...Love Francisco Lindor but he'll be a FA after this season...I wouldn't have made that deal unless I could have also locked him up long term.

On the bright side of the Lindor deal, it means the Mets are now likely out of the loop on signing DJ LeMahieu, which gives the Yanx a better shot at resigning him...although the Dodgers and Blue Jays are rumored to be interested in him also.

Regardless, Cashman needs to stop f'ing around on this...give DJ the contract he deserves, and then start looking at other roster moves.

Lindor collects gobs of money on a team that goes no where.

WTF is Cashman doing? ...take a look at the bolded stats of each and decide for yourself who got the better end of the deal.

New York Yankees get Greg Allen from San Diego Padres for lefty James Reeves
    Jan 7, 2021

NEW YORK -- Switch-hitting outfielder Greg Allen was acquired by the New York Yankees from the San Diego Padres on Thursday for left-hander James Reeves.

The 27-year-old Allen has a .239 average with eight homers and 57 RBIs in 557 at-bats and 221 games over four seasons with Cleveland (2017-20) and San Diego (2020). Allen hit .154 with one homer and four RBIs in 26 at-bats over 16 games last year. He was designated for assignment on Dec. 31.

A San Diego native, Allen is not yet eligible for salary arbitration.

    Reeves, 27, is 20-7 with a 2.30 ERA in 12 starts and 125
relief appearances over five minor league seasons. He did not get in a game last year, when the minor league seasons were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

I do not question that JD LeMahieu is upset with the way Yankee management is treating him.
What is upsetting to me is that the Red Sox are in serious talks with JD. If they sign him, I’ve had it
with the shenanigans of Cashman & owner, Hal Steinbrenner who have mismanaged tons of money
    in their ludicrous signings.
