...no one said they were news "organizations"...they are news outlets. They simply redistribute what other sources have stated. ...besides, what's the dif?...nearly everyone is reporting the same story anyway.
I saw that news bit on HGH, and the dropping of some big names, ..... the beat goes on, the mystery thickens, and I wan't to believe players in all sports are clean, but..........I'm sure there's a few out there who are still screwing the pooch of rules, and I don't want to believe Peyton of all athelete's is involved...."say it ain't so"....!
Big difference....AJ was the origin of the story and HP was the primary pedlar. AJ & HP have a demonstrable penchant for trying to assassinate American culture. Sources matter, period.
...what exactly is the problem?...different networks/outlets having their own perceived bias is not exactly "news". ...a simple search shows just how many sources perpetuated this...but if you wanna believe AJ and HP are the devil, fine. https://www.google.com/search?q=Ryan Howard, Ryan Zimmerman, and Taylor Teagarden were among several athletes linked to performance enhancing drugs&oq=Ryan Howard, Ryan Zimmerman, and Taylor Teagarden were among several athletes linked to performance enhancing drugs&aqs=chrome..69i57&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=91&ie=UTF-8#q=Ryan Howard, Ryan Zimmerman, and Taylor Teagarden were among several athletes linked to performance enhancing drugs&tbm=nws
speaking of devils, or am I bringing 'em up? A Caltrans Traffic Warning sign, on The Northbound I-15 Freeway, (LA to Vegas); was hacked around the town of Corona. I've got a nephew and a D.O.D. taught hacker in Corona, wonder what he knows...? But I'm sure it wouldn't be he.....hehehe...!
Jeez Ron, you got family at HuffPo or are they still the primary news feed for AOL? AJ is about as anti-american as you can get. And HP is another blame America first muckraker. Paying either any credibility is laughable...pretty much news trolls.
...sorry, but I was not the one who originally provided the links...and no, I don't have family with HP....and no, AOL has nothing to do with this either and I don't know why you felt the need to bring them up. Like I've already said a couple of times, what's the dif? And also like I said before, if you have a hard on for those two sources or if you're disputing the story, that's fine, that's your option. ...is AJ always a credible news source?...meh...but my point is that no matter who breaks a story, the other outlets blindly fall in line and redistribute the very same article. If the article in question proves to be false I'm sure AJ will be lambasted for it. But the other are just as much to blame for not ivestigating BEFORE reporting. ...but you have yet to dispute the story and instead, decided to only slam 2 of the many many news sources that reported the story. Why are you not bashing the host of others? Again, you don't dispute the actual story, only it's source, so I'm not sure what your motivation is here. ...and as far as "muckrakers" and "news trolls"?...well, aren't most all news outlets muckrakers and trolls?...that's pretty much what they do.
The real issue to me, is not even legit, IMO, which would be, the use of the substances Peyton is accused of using, were not illegal in 01 at that time, thus its a non-issue story IMO, at least as far as Manning goes, the rest I haven't given much attention to, ... yet!! Let's go down to the Sunset Grill Watch the working girls go by Watch the "basket people" walk around and mumble And gaze out at the auburn sky Maybe we'll leave come springtime Meanwhile, have another beer What would we do without all these jerks anyway? Besides, all our friends are here
FOX Sports reports that the White Sox are looking at free agents Yoenis Cespedes and Alex Gordon as per Ken Rosenthal.
...I'm kinda leery about Cespedes...too inconsistent. ...Gordon?...I'm surprised the Royals didn't find a way to keep him...maybe they will.
In an interview with MLB Network, Scott Boras indicated that he doesn't believe the Marlins will trade Jose Fernandez this off season as per Jon Morosi.
^^^yeah, I get the feeling that they were testing the waters, hoping to get someone to bite and make them a ridiculous offer.
MLB.Com reports that the White Sox and Orioles are "emerging as leaders for now" in the chase for free agent Yoenis Cespedes as per Jesse Sanchez.
