No. Sorry, after Tanaka. Oops. Pineda too erratic, Nova is still a question mark, and CC isn't reliable. This is a rotation that could rock a 5 games series and then come back and shit the bed in a 7 gamer.
...hell tote, even if you had said yes, I would {not} have questioned you...like I said, Tanaka has has his share of ups and downs this year too. edited
http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/t/tanakma01.shtml HR are up 70% this year, but WHIP is down. When he's getting hit this year, he's paying a price. That is a great measure of erraticness.....up in the zone.
^^^oooops, I just realized I left out a very important word in my previous post...it should have read "...I would NOT have questioned you" ...fixed it.
Yeah I was sheet rocking my living room wall Saturday afternoon & damaged the cable wire. But all is well now.
Or, possibly, the OTHER team's 7th game, or deciding game pitcher could get knocked around by the Yankee lineup which happens to be capable of putting more points on the board than ALOT of other competitors, and if the game happens to be close in the last three innings, then it becomes a battle of bullpens. Looks like the old 'if" game.....if Tanaka and Pineda pitch well, which they are quite capable of doing....we may not see the other team's fancy ace in a "game seven" or deciding game because the Yanks would have already won the series...lol...and/or, who says there is a guarantee the other team's top pitchers will come up with a GOOD game? Bring 'em on.....one at a time.
