Maybe Headley should approach his at bats with the idea that the game is a romp, thus no pressure!
He seems to get his hits when there is no pressure.

Joe just could not help himself............. four eyes enters the game in 9th inning. Cannot take this shit.
The only question is " Is a six run lead enough?" Prefer not to see him .

Unbelievable. This guy is an extra base hit pitcher. What a POS!

Sending Clippard out there tonight was idiotic on many levels. I know it would be great to get him straightened out but tonight was not the time or the place.

Wow. Girardi has lost it! Trying to give confidence to this loser is hopeless. Everyone knows it except Girardi!
Trying to straighten him out is not working. Send him down and let him get his shit together,
not during regular games. He can quickly turn the game with what he is pitching/throwing
    now.

Ending the losing streak is what it was all about tonight. Moving back into first place is a bonus as well. Now hopefully build on it.

Per the River Avenue Blues game recap always brutally honest, one could see the fear in Clippards face out on the mound. Come on Yankees it's time to get this man to a spot where he can workout his issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Clippard's last three appearances, he has given up 9 extra base hits, no singles, and got one out. It is clear he is
lost. If you're going to keep him up here, give him 2 to 3 games off the mound.

I've thought the same thing, as was Farnsworth to all 9 teams he played on, and a dozen or so Mgr's, he played for....
