How many horseshoes does BaBoone (have) stuck up his arse? Totally undisciplined moves and the roses could not smell sweeter. Now he throws another minor leaguer at these A’s ......Gearrin. Again....whoever the little GM gets, this manager kisses the GM’s ass with an appearance by that player.
A’s have left 15 runners on base through 9 innings. Yankees 3. I’d say Yankees lucky to be playing extra innings.
Looks like the morons were swinging for the fences instead of trying for contact to get base runners. Given the situation of being 0-3 against Oakland I'd say the games last night and today are of the "in the moment " variety and the teams offense and pitching have simply failed.
LeMahieu walks off for 4-3 Yankee victory. And that was the 4th solo HR today. And there is the final lucky horseshoe firmly planted in the lucky bastard’s arse!
What’s another injury to this team? All year with no letdown it does not fail that players are falling like pins on a bowling alley......it is to be expected. How sad is that! Somebody, please take those pins out of that voodoo doll.....the one wearing pinstripes!
“That one’s on me.” Will these words be BaBoone’s final words as the season ends. Oh God, I hope not or his ass is grass...... he did not bother to challenge a ball that was foul, but ump called it fair.
....^^^^ Exactly !! These last 2-3 games, weeks, months seems like 90% of hitters are swinging for the fences; less LeMahieu and Gio; most of the time. LeMahieu & Urshela are: - good, excuse me, Great contact hitters. The "old fashioned" type of hitter, who- tries to: Simply make good contact Square Up on the ball, and is a line-drive hitters....
"Closing time, one last call for alcohol, it's closing time"... Superman with a Walk Off in the 11-th... It's hard to imagine David John, NOT being the AL-MVP. Just give it to him NOW....!!!
On a side note: College Football's Kickoff Classic was today: One team is on a roll, Roll Tide Roll... (even if you're the 2nd best Team in the Nation)
