    Shreve is an automatic when it comes to giving up runs. This is the
    best Trashman has to offer. He just does not attack the zone.....too
    picky, wishy washy.

    You're right, not normally at this time of year but you never know what GM you might catch asleep at the wheel or what team who may have started out unexpectedly bad like Baltimore or the Dodgers who may be looking to sell or perhaps upgrade or shake their roster up. The Yanx have a lot log jams at certain positions and a lot of movable and spare parts that may be of value to another team.
    ...I suppose what I'm saying is that it's not necessary to wait till the trade deadline to make a move.
