    So what are the chances cashman survives this grand plan of a year? 3 mediocre years in a row, he should be held accountable, but will the Steinbrenner children do it?

    ....it was said earlier in the year that if the Yanx fail, Girardi will be this year's scapegoat, like Long was last year.

    ...But Cashman and the Steins are as much to blame as Joe.

    I've been saying it down the stretch. They haven't hit garbage pitchers. Now suddenly they were going to hit a 20 game winner who dominated them in two starts this year? It's a flawed roster and has been all year. Arod and Beltran look like the old men they are and McCann is playing like he's 45.
