^^^^^ At one time I felt Bob Costas was a good candidate for Cooperstown. I used to enjoy his stories of first attending games in the Bronx in 1957 as a 5 year old. Used To. Too often the deeper a game gets Costas starts to lose focus of the game and floats off to God knows where. I remember the 19-inning game a couple years ago that Costas called early in the morning. Seems like all he could talk about the last five six innings was where he was going to get a freaking cheeseburger after the game...
