Again not a Girardi fan & some of his moves like last night drives me f'king nuts but like you said Ron, replace him with who? Buck Showalter is not walking through that door any time soon. Bottom line is Joe can't hit for these guys & its on them to do there jobs. The offense has just not been there.
At this point, put another body in there, like I have said before, it's not joes fault the players are underachieving, but , there needs to be a fall guy to wake these players up, it's inexcusable ! To relinquish 2 leads, to put up more the 2 runs vs 1 of the toughest pitchers in the game on your turf, this time of year, this can't happen.
Underachieving for far too long , 2 facets of game. Players performance and a coaches strategy, neither r working, can't get rid of all players, joe must go. Joe should have went to cubbies, Maddon here!
...oh, if that's the case, they'll certainly make Joe the scapegoat this year, while Cashman will still somehow be bullet proof. ...last year it was the hitting coach and 1B coach that were to blame.
...yup, been saying for awhile that a lot of the blame goes to the Steins...I mean if they're so blind as to not even realize Cashman's failures, nothing will change for the better until Cashman is gone or as long as the Steins are the owners. ...garbage in, garbage out.
New owners are needed... Someone who cares about winning and not just it being a cash cow... I personally like the idea of someone like Mark Cuban... Not saying that'll happen, but that type of owner...
...yeah, I threw Cuban's name out there awhile back too...from what I've read though, many of the MLB and the NFL owners essentially blocked him because that he was too much of a rogue to be allowed in...that's kinda hypocritical considering some of the bombastic owners already in place. ...IMO, an owner like Cuban is exactly what pro sports needs.
...oh hell, it was a long time ago...at least a year maybe...but I think it was discuss on the espn and 1903 board as well.
What's the point in having some of the best tools in the shed, and not knowing how to use them. ... Gree on ownership, good call bringin up Cuban, a dueshbagg, but he's got a little bit of the Boss in him, very interesting
I missed a LARGE chunk of the ESPN board cause I was done with all the gestapo tactics and don't know if I ever made it to the 1903 boards and if I had, it wasn't for long
