I'm obviously not awake yet, even after 2 cups of strong coffee, and Yes, I totally spaced out the fact Our Son is living with us again, and has that Laptop....altho' I still prefer an old mechanical type writer keyboard. Those laptops are touchy fkrs, I'm always hitting a delete key....!!!
The more things change the more they stay the same. Both Tex & than McCann, wide open left side & they didn't even make an attempt. I don't get it, a free hit.
Being 1 hit through 4 innings by a pitcher who's under 500 with an ERA near 5 last season. This better not be a sign of things to come. The only thing that could make this worse is if the Mets have an offensive explosion in there game later on this afternoon.
What also surprised me were the ovations A-Rod got when he came up to bat. Many even standing. And if that didn't turn your stomach I also saw quite a few Rodriquez jerseys. So much for PRIDE of the Yankees.
But, looking at the brighter side, if Hutchison is the Jays' ace/opening day pitcher,.....and Buerhle is also one of their top 3 starters...... The Jays BETTER score ALOT of runs over the course of our 162g schedule. Hutchison can strike out batters.....and ...unless he resolves his location/BB issues he'll have another year with 4.00+ ERA. Not concerned with the Jays yet. Ho hum
On base 2/3 of the time, so far. It is what it is....not bad SO FAR for a 7th place batter. I think we kinda all agreed Arod wouldn't (or shouldn't, lol) be expected to be a savior. ugh
