Can't even watch the games in which Gray starts. They're over in the first few innings.

...not sure what Gray's problem is...his FB and breaking ball are as good as ever but I don't know if he's simply missing his spots and leaving too many pitches over the middle of the plate or if he's somehow tipping his pitches or what.
...but ultimately, it's up to him and the pitching coach to get to the root of the problem and figure it out and make the necessary adjustments. But they can't just keep marching him out there every 5th game and hope for the best. I really think that at this point, he's obviously got a confidence problem which is death for a pitcher.

Prime example of a guy, Clippard, who could not handle being in pinstripes. Hitters not doing their homework.
Nickel & dime this guy and he will eventually implode.

Glad to see she got a good chuckle. When I was on active duty comment akin to that were labeled Black Humor. Now had Billy Martin manager we'd have seen articles on Billy kicking butt on his pitcher.

Michael- Have You seen "MLB Network Presents: Billy"???

As good (more like Epic) a Docu on Martin's Career, both as a Player & moreso as the Genius Mgr Billy was. We will never see a manager like Billy again, unfortunate as that is ...
    https://www.mlb.com/news/life-of-billy-martin-is-profiled-in-mlb-network-presents-billy/c-263056128

Billy did not tolerate mediocrity as you well know. One of very very few managers who was able to take the rag tag team and turn them into champions, any and everywhere he went ...

I saw that one plus the Yankeeography version as well. I remember Billy as a player during the '56 season through '57 when he was traded. Like Billy as a player, hard nosed and a World Series kicker of National League butt. Damn good manager. When he took over the Yankees in '76 I was one happy dude. Steinbrenner should have just kept him in there and let him go. I met Billy at Tinker Field at an '88 Twins Yankees game. Got to briefly converse and got his autograph. Martin hit it on the head when he said he wasn't the most Yankee but he was the proudest. A great saying to pass through the ages.
