#1 I've no doubt he will.

#2 After the Rangers pass them for the last playoff spot the'll have all winter to rest.

Well, Nova proved he has no endurance, moxy, guts
and pride. The pitching has really sucked.

I seriously doubt Ortiz doesn't homer again until then.

It's a shame because Nova looked like he has so much promise when he first came on the scene. It's pretty hard to take both him and Pineda right now.

as i was watching the first game, from my vantage point girardi was expressionless, when your coach acts like that the players pick it up... there were several non strike calls, esp the 1 on the first baseman where he should have been out and the yanks poss get out of that 4 run inning, girardi didn't flinch! he has given up imo!

While there might be some validity in trying to fire a team up but they walked five guys and hit a batter in that inning. Therefore you take what could be a good point and cloud it up with an inning where Mitchell and Shreve couldn't of been more brutal if they tried.

WTF is a Mgr supposed to do, throw a temper tantrum every time, His Team continues to make a mockery out of the game?

A good Mgr., often has to stay cool calm and collected, when the wagon wheels fall off.......

this is not the era of Billy Martin, Dick Williams, even Sweet Lou........

I was vocal on deadline day about the mistake this team made by not making any moves at all to reinforce this club. Then injuries occurred and the lack of depth this team has became evident. The one idiotic move they make was to swap Garrett Jones for Ackley. What in the hell was the point of that? Anyway, they did nothing and now here we are.
