Happ was trying to convince Boone to let him stay in. Here’s hoping Ottavino used the ASB to remember how to be lights out like he was last year. Tough spot for him.

It was in no mans land. Gardner wouldn’t have gotten it either. Didn’t even look like Gardner knew exactly where it was in the air.

Those runs are 100% on Boone. How do you NOT call off the shift when Toronto is showing they want to double steal. At least put Voit on first and make Biggio have to stay close. Unbelievable how clueless this guy is when it comes to situational awareness.

I’m tired of replaying BaBoone’s gaffs. He’s incompetent....plain & spimple. He puts his players in
    jeopardy.

It’s amazing Happ cannot get into the 6th inning without giving up runs. Of course, Ottavino ain’t
the best relief with men on base.....but then again, that is who Boner turns to in a game.

Ottavino: every time that man is called on the results are less than desirable! These are games the Yankees should be taking charge of early and kicking butt instead of struggling from the first pitch!

If this Yankee team cannot come back in this game, chances are they will lose another game to the “never say
    die” Rays.

Nice called strike to judge a foot inside. He needs to go crazy once and get thrown out of a game so the umps stop taking advantage and Boone puts his friggin gum down and gets out there and goes crazy to protect him

These Umpires need to back to School as Boner sits there and does nothing go out there lose your Mind and get Thrown Out of The Game.

lol....automated strike zone can’t get here soon enough. These umps the last month and a half have been atrociously bad, and not just for the Yankees. Across all of baseball these homeplate umps have been historically bad. At some point MLB needs to start suspending and fining umps for obvious blown calls. It’s obvious that nothing else will effect them until it truly hits them in their wallet.
