The Game ends on an inside pitch called for a strike.

Bring on the automated home plate umpire

To be fair, that one was a strike.

    Yeah, -
The replay clearly revealed it to be more of a strike than I thought on 1st sight. It looked up and in, on the black at best, but it wasn't even on the black, and not high

Even more reason for Automated Telemetry for a K-zone, if not replacing HP Umps entirely, and eventually all Umps, less One for ??? Kissing babies, Pine Tar sightings, enforcing technicalities, stopping a game for beach balls and/or simply appeasing Fans, Players et al with a human face on the field.

Manfred needs to grow some balls and begin the process of starting the experiment with an Automated Telemetry K-Zone. Give us a date when and how automation will begin. Utilized and tested during ST. The Technologies have existed in other fields for 20+ years other than Sports.

I imagine the Umps Union aren't fans of this. People in general who are being replaced with robotics, at first impression aren't usually open minded to such concepts, that can do their jobs, quicker, better, accurate with zero variances, and don't harbor attitudes to humans, ntm- such systems are expensive but they payoff in the long run, and aren't on a payroll...

I imagine the majority of owners aren't fans either? I don't have a clue how the players feel about it either.

I'm curious how long will it be b4 we even begin to hear officoal open discussions on this matter.

If Toronto’s pitching is handcuffing Yankee hitters, what will pitching rich Rays do for an encore?
Are Yankee hitters still on All-Star break?........and/or Boner not adapting well to business as usual?

Well Boston makes a trade and Trashman in at the local landfill trying to find some garbage pitcher that he can claim for free since his ineptness has left this team in a bind without starting pitching.....which we all knew was a weakness last year and still is. Amazing game how this guy can’t find a pitcher or a trade partner yet Boston has already. Now he’s going to overpay for Stroman. Watch. He’s gonna give up Frazier and Florian for this bum. I can just feel it. He’s going to panic and not know what to do, as usual, and instead of acting he’s reacting and going to make the wrong decision.

    2) - Stroman and Wheeler will set the team backwards a few years, and more $$$ than either is worth and more (by far) than any other GM with a brain would pay for.

Stroman and/or Wheeler are not worth J. Holder or Cesspool straight up....

    But- y'all know as much...

    1) - Lmao - true, very true. Nice visceral ~
