Well, looks like this team’s taste of first place will end after tonight’s game. And I do not want to hear the standard ........ it’s 162 game schedule. Knowing before your game starts, if you lose you are no longer in first place. We are talking about today, not what happens 3 months from now. Maybe this team will hit consistently, maybe this team will string a ten game winning streak backed by excellent pitching, maybe all the injured come back healthy, maybe Boone makes sound decisions, maybe they finish in first place at season’s end. CC fell short of his 250 th Win. Our Bullpen has been shit for most of the year. Yanx Bullpen has given up 16 Earned Runs over the last 15 1/3 rd Innings, for a stellar 9.30 ERA !!!
