    Both are left handed starters, an entity lacking in Yankee organization. Skaggs has better numbers; traded from
    D’backs. Heaney has less experience on a par with Cessa & German. Just shows Cashman’s dearth of pitching
    depth.

    The Angels had the shit pounded out of them by Boston this year 6 games to none. In addition the Yankees took 5/6. That should give one a clue on Angel pitching.

    Last SP Yanx need is Skaggs. Another SP who's fastball is <92 mph.

    That and he's never started more than 18 Games, 17 this year. Never has thrown more than 113 IP, 98 this year. A 20-26 Lifetime W-L record; never has endured a real or full season. Has a good ERa this yr, 2.77, good 9.64 K/9, impressive 0.73 HR/9, a not to great 2.57 BB/9, BUT last thing the Yanx need is a SP who can only throw 91.5 mph.

    Halos are desperate with 3 SP's out with TJ Surgery:
    Richards/ Ramirez/ Shoemaker- next in line Skaggs, imo...

    Skaggs isn't Tom Glavine and neither is CC...
