For crying out loud, we are only in the first week of May and the accolades are rammed down the viewers’ throats. People in Washington, Phoenix, Atlanta must also be gushing at this corporate sports’ crap!
^^^^ Exactly, it's a veeeerrrrryyyy looooonnnnggh season, & Teams will enter & exit the equation. Some will fall hard; some arise out of nowhere... With or without adustments & unexpected injuries, it's the worlds greatest roller coaster ride, MLB- t/beauty & nature of the game &/or beast. What I'd give 4 an injury free year, consistency with pitching, & t/Offense 2 continue averaging 5-6 pts ++ per game...
This year like several years prior, the Yankees bullpen puts together a streak of impressive statistical pitching , over the course of a week or two. Then the press hails the Yankees bullpen if they are unhittable... Thereafter the wheels of the bullpen fall off. This series revealed as much, deja vu... That trend has to be reversed, consistency versus the roller coaster ride...
