If I said it once, I've said it a thousand times, IF.....these guys get their ABs...THIS team will score considerably more runs as compared to last year's poor offensive team output...which was - IMO - the biggest reason why the 2014 Yankees didn't win 4-6 more games and would've qualified for WC spot.....then throw the dice!
Never said *"CC WILL be good"..... just willing to hold my opinion a while longer as he....(and I thought we all agreed on this) tries and kinda re-invents himself. Think about it. * more word games by the master. Lol
Yawn......oh....I just woke up......Arod hit a homer.....is this SPRING TRAINING? Can't be.....he isn't going to make it out of SPRING TRAINING.
Please don't start your shit again. And a reminder I don't think ANYONE said A-Rod WOULDN'T make it out of ST, they said they HOPED he wouldn't make it out of ST.
^^^lol @ you lurking back in the shadows until something goes your way. ....and yes, actually you DID imply CC will be good; you said; "I still believe CC can be a good (if not ace-type) pitcher. While he's lost a few MPH on his fastball, he has always had a good breaking ball and change-up- and a 90 mph fastball is good enough to supplement those other pitches because he's always had good command of all three pitches." ...would you like me to link the post to embarrass you even further?
I beg everyone please just let it die. I don't care about sprint training. This is a game thread about tonight's game and the state of the team right at this moment.
I don't know about anyone else but I'm apprehensive about the upcoming series with Boston. This team just has not looked good at all,
...this team is lucky not to be 0-3 after tonight ...nothing to be optimistic about going into the Sox series.
lol......actually CC didn't exactly get bludgeoned with alot of hard hit balls, 4 ER, Kd 8 (0 BB) batters in 5.2 IP which does kinda shows he has some effective stuff. Considering this is an older pitcher who HAS lost a couple MPH on his fastball trying to make the adjustment to being more of a finesse pitcher, I'd have to say, it was a bit encouraging and he COULD still be an effective middle of the rotation (#3,4) guy. And I would hope it's plain to see that there's a difference between saying he "can be" and will be. You DID read that whole post of mine where you cited ONE word- "good", didn't you? Okay, I'm done, comments welcomed. lol. yeesh
