Just for laughs. If we sweep Seattle...and Houston sweeps the red sox...that puts us 6 back in the loss column with 6 to play with Boston. Can we do it?

I know, baby steps. Let's take care of our own business first. But we have 3 in Minny after this series, then home for our last home series of the season (9 games - 3 each w/bal, bos, tor), then end with 7 toughies on the road (4 @ TB, 3 @ Bos).

Boston has 3 @ NYY, 3 @ Cle, then 3 more with us in Boston. Of course they play 6 more at home on this current home stand (after Hou) with the Mets and The Jays (they'll win the majority of those), then 6 more at home against Bal & NYY (3 each) to end their season.

Is it Doable? Can we dream? Can we take the greatest season in Boston history, and break their freaking hearts? Maybe we can make them sweat enough to where they can't rest players heading to the post season. Any damage we do to them is fine by me.

I don't know if I could stand having the Eagles win a Super Bowl and the sox win a world series in the same calendar year. Would SO suck.

Nothing like the Crimson Tide game on prior to a Yankee game...

I would rather have five guys with 150++ hits and 100 RBIs than six guys with 20-plus home runs, just saying...

Although Voit still needs a bit of fine-tuning with scooping the ball out of the dirt, (on throws to the bag in the dirt).

This play is/was a classic Mudshark at work, great...

With Lynn on the mound and his recent performances it's a Buddy Holly "Crying, Waiting, Hoping" Day.

Why can't this happen when A-Fraud is in the booth???, maybe a minor Skirmish between Conehead and A-Roid...

DETROIT -- Tigers television announcers Mario Impemba and Rod Allen have been suspended for the rest of the season after allegedly getting into a physical altercation earlier this week.

Fox Sports Detroit announced the decision Friday. The popular longtime pair reportedly tangled in the broadcast booth Tuesday before a game in Chicago against the White Sox.

"After speaking with all involved parties, Fox Sports Detroit has decided not to schedule Rod Allen and Mario Impemba for any future Tigers telecasts this season," network spokeswoman Courtney Welch said in a statement. "Since this is an internal matter, we will have no further comment."

Impemba and Allen are in their 17th season as the team's main television team.

Tonight I will cross my fingers that Lynn can pitch five innings and then let, most likely
Boner’s pet, AJ Cole pick up the baton....I mean ‘ball’.

Let's pray Lance keeps his pitch count down and doesn't resort to playing the Vio-Lynn...

I know You, of all, know this better than mostessess, Brother...:smiley-hailxin::smiley-bowdown: You've been through your own hell and back again haven't ya'. Didn't you say you had a heart attack not that long ago????

If the Yanx sweep Seattle, are Ya' gonna' Let the Lion out of the Cage....Or will that ROAR only occurr after a Bostonian Massacre by the Yanx...??-!!-??-!! :smiley-drzifige:

When I was laying in the surgery room Halloweed Eve, waiting for the surgeon to remove half a kidney; (for RNC), I laid there 'comfortably numb' and seriously sedated like a whore in church. While being prepped by the nurses. I spoke out loud:-
"If the surgeon comes in dressed like the Grim Reaper, and his assistant dressed like the devil, then I'm gonna' jump off this table and run outta here stark ass naked"....

^^^^^the Lion only comes out of the Cage on special, special occasions......yes, a Boston Massacre
by the Yankees would be very appropriate. A victory tonight I will let he Lion roar, but he stays
    in the Cage!
