Are you done with the name calling? Okay, here's what I have for ya: 1) YOU thought you were proving some point by saying the Phillies scored MORE RUNS than the Mets in 1969...but that wasn't MY point...and wasn't THE point. I was just commenting on (IMO) the connection between having a good W-L and a positive run differential. 2) I never said a team cannot have a winning record with a negative run differential but ▶"to play into October with a final poor run differential, it would be a very rare and infrequent case. (post 11) ◀ 3) I totally agree that WINS are the most important thing. 4) Success? How often have we've seen one or two teams with poor (or any) negative run differential playing in the World Series ? I'll even make it easier...how often in a LCS? Want to play the odds? They're not going to be good. I'm done....I should've realized after your irrelevant comment about the 1969 Mets and Phillies. Maybe this will make you feel better, or at least make you laugh.... ➡I hope the Yanks win 100 games and get outscored by 50 runs over the season. Okay? Feel better now? GO YANKS!
Judging by your post it seems appropriate. But for the record I wasn't calling you a putz NOW, I was just saying not to go back to being one. And yes, on that note: GO YANKEES!
The last game they showed on PIX11 they kept showing clips of the old booth team of Rizzuto, White & Murcer. It was very enjoyable I hope they continue it. Oh well, forget that, they're using the Mets crew. Time to switch over to YES.
Tex sends another two run message. 5-0 Yankees. Twelve hits for Tex this season with seven of those homers.
Was being aggressive on a poor outfield arm but not the time to do it. The kid is struggling so no need to hand him outs.
Like I said so far with Tex it seems to be all or nothing. This just may be one of those seasons where he hits 30 HRs & drive in 100 but bats 220. Hell a guy by the name of Kingman made a career out of doing that.
...Tex makes the whole infield defense much better...in fact, this may be one of the better infield defenses I've seen...offensively, he's become Adam Dunn. ...and no, I don't wanna give back the 4 RBIs he's provided tonight.
