My own observations on Sanchez are that upon arrival in'16 he had some impact. The Yankees trade B Mac to Houston to make room for him (Sanchez) The Yankees exceeded expectations in'17 and went deep in the playoffs. I believe Sanchez passed up Yogi for bombs by a Catcher. But Sanchez ain't no Yogi not even close. and in games 6/7 in the playoffs B Mac out played Sanchez behind and at the dish. This year Sanchez is a huge albatross, if George were still alive he'd dub Sanchez as the "Fat Toad II". I feel much better all the way around when Romine is the Catcher.

From news items I've read the Mets front office is a puzzle palace so I'm not sure what moves they may or may not make. Those of you watching last night may have seen Familia remaining on the bench because he is up there in trade rumors.

...yeah, Sanchez may have a stronger arm than Romine but that's about it. I remember a few years ago when Sanchez was labeled as a "head case" and according to coaches, had a big attitude problem. Then once he became a Father he really turned himself around. Like I said, I don't know if it's mental, personal life, or some physical problem, but he really needs to get better, much better.

Getting Gray, who knew he’s only a 5 or less inning pitcher. What a bargain! Do not like this dude.

Chapman looks to be giving away the store.. Talk about implosion. Three walks, an infield hit, a hit batsman and
he leaves with the bases loaded, two runs in,,,,,nobody out and OMG!.....Chasen Shreve enters. Mets hit this guy
hard last night. He just might give up the store here.

Surprise, surprise a double play. Wilmer Flores vs. Shreve. ??? I’ll be damn. The SOB
made his first save of the year.....And his first since his only one in 2017!
