    The focus is no more about the game. Today the emphasis is “how much ?”.......what is my worth. Really miss the
    announcers with their detailed anecdotes. Red Barber, Ernie Harrell, Mel Allen, Vin Scully, Jack Brickhouse,
    Curt Gowdy, Bob Prince, Jack Buck, Harry Caray, Harry Kalas, Russ Hodges, Lindsey Nelson.

    Garigiola was good in his prime, began 2 slip later on. Tim McCarver drove me batshit crazy. Also enjoyed Scooter and Bill White...

    Joe Torre believe it or not was outstanding when he was calling games for the Halos. Joe was a bit monotone but had insights others lacked.
