4-2 lead in the 8th this team shouldn't lose. That's because of wasting Betances and Miller last night.

I agree. You don't give up wins in June because of what you might think August will bring.

Like I have said the pen has been overused. Why Betances and Miller in a 5-1 and then 6-1 game?

Drew double clutches on a routine DP ball. Very next
    pitch......tied ball game, 4-4. Crap-iguano delivers
    his usual nonsense.

joe is out of psynch with the roster right now and its painfully obvious that he just doesnt have plan of action that includes drew and ryan.

Miller wasn't available - going on the DL with forearm stiffness.
Betances was off the board for the 8th.

I had no problem using Lindgren in the 8th especially with a 2 run cushion and I would've felt the same way if Miller was available.
Let's find out about Lindgren, he will (imo) get a lot of Ks, his wildness out of the zone is the issue.

That was the ballgame- he couldn't protect the lead.
Left one too many balls up and away to a dangerous RH batter who punched it over the RF wall for a game tie-ing 2 run HR.

Oh well, that was a fukn tough fukn loss.

And Denard Span, he left the Twins, grew a beard and became a Yankee killer.

...no, I was laughing because like the guys in the booth questioning things, we have absolutely no idea about what is going on behind the scenes...we might think we do, but we don't.

It still doesn't excuse silliness. Fine Miller is hurt and couldn't go today. Why is he in the game last night? Why was Betances?

...Betances only threw 11 pitches...and Miller came in because Shreve didn't do his job and allowed 2 runners to get on in the 9th...Miller came in to face one batter. Plus Girardi also knew that tomorrow is an off day...what he didn't know and couldn't have known is that Miller had an arm problem.

...I just don't see the reasoning for hanging this on Joe.

Just haven't been a fan of his bullpen use this year.

...again, would you have felt better about Joe if he had left in Shreve and possibly let the game get out of hand?...it can easily happen, we saw it vs the Angels...I can see the second guessing if they had lost last night, but they won...again I just don't see the problem here.
...like I said, Joe knew that tomorrow was an off day in which both Betances and Miller would get rested up.

...Mess, part of it stems from the fact that early on the Yanx were not getting innings from the starters (less than 6 inning average)...that will tax any BP...personally, I think Joe has handle the pen OK.

Beltran, over the hill, too injury prone, not worth the $$$ he's getting paid, and If it smells like shit, it must be shit........

Odd thing is: a wise old man, once told me, "One has to deal with the shit or manure which enables healthy plant growth and/or to give Roses Fragrance"......Ok, then fk the roses, I'll plant Tumbleweeds......

He lacks power at the point and can't go full speed in the outfield. It's not good having RF taken up by a singles hitter.
