Considering there's only 3-4 players hitting & that there's way to many dead spots in the lineup we have to depend on the pitching.
...if Eovaldi would be more efficient, he could be a good starter. But he throws way too many pitches and when he misses, he misses over the plate...you can't do that.
Mr. Warren.... you have a five run lead. Top of the 5th. You walk first two batters. What the fuck are you doing? Com'on. Get your act together.
And here's the part that drives me nuts on the rule side. Wilson came in & threw 5 pitches to close out the 5th. He is now the pitcher of record. And if he doesn't throw another pitch this game & the Yankees keep the lead he gets the win. For throwing 5 pitches in a 3rd of an inning.
He's is, and has been a SP Lol....I've had to point out a few words to you more than once, written in English by me, in which you couldn't read, or childishly ignored it because it disproved some jeky point you thought you were making. Don't take it personal, but I think you're just plain....stup...er, I mean, you're just not as smart as I thought you were. You're developing quite a track record with me. Lol. Clown, can't score brown-nose points with me. Lmao
Sure, but they won so that's all that matters. There's a long way to go but if they can keep it up and then get some pitching reinforcements healthy. They will be in very good shape. First step is just worrying about the division. Nobody is all that great where they can't win it.
I'm concerned about the over load of work on the bullpen because our starters can't get past the 6th inning.
Not to say 5-0 is not a great lead but this was a game where they had chances to get more and really put it away. Either way they won it but yes a lot of close games with the pen getting taxed.
