    ^^^^.....

Exactly this offense can turn anemic in a heartbeat. I cannot recall a team that was so dependent on the long ball. Of course with attempts to hit the long ball comes record amounts of strikeouts. This team is not balanced offensively its long ball or bust.

It was a great interview with Billy Beane a week or two ago. He nailed it perfectly when he said, if my team hits more home runs than yours I will win 75% of the time. But the other 25% a team needs to be able to manufacture runs and play small ball. While both must be accompanied by good starting pitching and relief.

Like all things in life balance is essential for prosperity....

Tonight Oakland did not gain on the Yankees. They lost their final home game
of the season 5-1 to Minnesota.

    Game Recap-

I don't believe it Stanton did not strike out, and Sanchez actually got a hit, and and and the world did not end, and and and the moon did not fall out of the sky and the San Andreas did not break loose.

Oh that's right the game was not played in Anaheim otherwise San Andreas would have broke loose...

One of the most pathetic performances all year. Losing the rubber match to the worst team in MLB go effing figure.

Very hard to believe this is a playoff-caliber team. Playoffs playoffs what playoffs....???

Planetary Alert- pay attention to the Open Sky, the Moon is predicted to fall on our heads....
If the Yankees win the World Series, it will be the end of the world as we know it...
    and-
    "I feel fine"....
