    now what in the hell does any analyst use for a metric to determine a "nasty factor"....? I get the nastiness of some pitches, but how its measured, I'd really like to know........

    Extra innings in Boston and complete offensive ineptness for the Yankees tonight. That run variance chart certainly says it all. Against a pitcher who has been terrible.
