Wade with a bomb but once again the Yankees strand two. Gotta score at every chance. Last night Bauer left the game with Cleveland up 4-0. The Indians Bullpen shit the bed giving with the Reds scoring 7 in th 9th. Can't get enough runs. And yeah especially with Gray out there. Baltimore has a shit record but they do have people who can flat out do damage with runners on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Long balls are sweet at times, BUT the Yanks have grown overly dependent upon them. Imo baBoone is "clueless in Seattle"; clueless period. Imo a team captain does not necessarily make for a good manager. A good manager should be more than a team captain and then some... baBoone is neither. He's in over his head, as is Trashman & t/Stein Kids...

Yankees win 9-0 but still left 14 on. If this team ever gets tight on situational hitting they'd win big..

"Situational Hitting"- one of several probs with t/Team.

153 HR's b4 the All Star break bests the Mariners record of 99; & we all know how that year & ALDS turned out....

I think you're onto something 59. I'm seeing Gray hurry his fastball delivery. Notice how long it takes Him to deliver his curveball. Seems to me it takes Sonny a little longer to throw the Curve.

After watching replay upon replay, there's little doubt in my mind. Gray definitely is keeping the ball in his glove longer, with a slight stop/hitch during delivery; when he throws a curveball. Machado seemed to know what he was getting (Curve) long b4 he drilled it off the wall. I'd say he's definitely Broadcasting...

    Game Recap-

As bad as Baltimore team as it's hard to get a read on how well Gray and the team did...

9-0 A win! Bird delivers and (I can't believe it) Grays holds them to 0. My wife, grandson and I came back from the Double AA minor league All Star game at the Trenton Thunder field. Sold Out. Bernie Williams performed the National Anthem on his guitar. Tim Tebow was on the Eastern Conference team. Ken Griffey was there. It was a tie game 4-4 going into extra and the batters practice was introduced. First selected player from team has to out hit the other . What a bullshit idea. I and many wanted normal baseball but Kiddie activities and fireworks had to be done. One admirable event was Bernie Williams sponsoring a bubble gum Guinness world record event for his fathers disease which affected lungs. I think it was called IBF. The crowd broke the record for holding a bubble for 20 seconds. 848 people vs. the prior record of 737 all holding a gum bubble. Cheez, that was earth shattering.

did Bernie do Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner?? Neil Young did every bit as masterful a job with the Star Sp-Bnr as Jimi did imo, (Rust Never Sleeps Tour)

Last Minor League AS Game I saw was in 96. Calif Lg vs Carolina Lg. at Rancho Cucamonga-
    Players- of note:
    CA League:
    Jose Cruz Jr.
    Adrian Beltre
    Miguel Tejada
    Ben Grieve
Pitchers: Not ONE Pitcher in t/CA Lg made it to MLB, none of note...

    Carolina Lg:
    Vlad Guerrero
    Nomar Garicaparra
    Andruw Jones
    Todd Helton
    Matt Stairs
Pitchers: Ted Lilly, John Rocker. No others made a career in MLB...

needless to say, Carolina Lg blew out the Caly Lg...

Bernie had nothing to do with Hendrix. His father passed due to a rare lung disease and he set up the event to promote this awareness. Actually, I would like to see him play Little Wing. SRV can play Hendrix better than anyone else except for this musician called Randy...….? He had huge teeth but could really sound like Jimi in voice and playing technique. Matts. You posted Good info.

...good call. Little Wing may be a bit of an unknown Hendrix song to casual music fans...but it may be Jimi's best work.

If an observer such as yourself sees the “tipping” what are the guys on the bench doing? Does Gray tip his pitches more at Yankee Stadium? .....because he is abysmal at the Stadium.
