Sadly like some of us have discussed on here he never needed them. He has quick hands through the zone that many would die for.
Good job Young. It's funny they tie the game after O'neill said he had a feeling the Yankees would win this game.
Headley has quite a few more bombs to go to match his errors. 14 runs thus far in two games 1 a loss, now another tied. Fuck you CC you big donkey!
I don't know what Beltran found but I'm glad he found it. He batted close to .300 in May and is batting close to .330 in June.
Two failed innings, 4 stranded runners. Couple of nights ago I commented how it looked like Gregorius was getting it together on both sides of the dish. Last night he made a huge error, tonight he starnds two. But the game is still pretty much on Sabathias poor performance.
With CC pitching I thought it be a good afternoon to go get the General Lee detailed, buy a handgun and ammo and drop the ceremonial whites off at the cleaners. How are our boys doing?
Franco has stuck it up this team's ass these two games. What a garbage performance against this miserable team.
Last three games the two best pitchers and the big donkey have given up 34 runs. Betances stunk tonight. Tomorrow the Yankees face a real pitcher in Hammels, then to face a much improved Astros Team in Houston. Not good times ahead!
Similar to the Marlins who were like 2-12 when the Yankees came to Miami and got there asses whipped. Ditto Philly with a similar record and they whipped the Yankees asses. These are the games that need to be won and the Yankees failed. Innings 6-8 they stranded a total of 5 runners. One timely knock may have gotten it done.
...with the rain delay and late start it felt like a West Coast game...so went to bed after the Yanx tied it back up at 6-6...I felt pretty confident that because they were swinging the bats well, they'd eventually win the game...I was shocked when I just saw the box score...1-12 with RISP?...that's pathetic but I suppose it should be understandable with a "home run or bust" type offense. ...I'm hoping Nova has a successful return today, but realistically, facing Hamels could also mean a Phillies sweep. Losing 3 in a row to a very bad team like Philly would be tough to accept. Needless to say, these guys need to wake up.
Yankee SP sinking towards the bottom (ERA) of the league....bad news. This could/will eventually have this team also floundering around near the bottom of the division...they've got to stop the bleeding and one of the first things we can hope for is for CC to CONTINUE to get pounded in his next couple of starts to the point where even the Yanks (Girardi, Cashman) see fit to take him out of the rotation and warehouse him somewhere in the bullpen. I doubt if they'll release him. Who knows?
I'm fed up with this team. My vibes about these Yankees ain't pretty. After this afternoon, on to Carlos Correa & the Houston Astros....then to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (terrible name for a team). Don't expect much, but then again this team plays to its opponent. Mediocrity is great to watch. LOL
