And fuk anyone who tries to insult our intelligence by saying Arod wasn't one of the greatest players of all time and I hope every player who has good things to say about Arod offering and helping them when they were toiling as young unfamiliar players will tell the haters where to get off. Sometimes I get the feeling the Yankee fan Arod haters are only butt-boys for squeaky clean Jeter and can't come to grips with the fact that Arod was more gregarious, outgoing, personally better liked than Jeter on a personal man to man basis amoung the players and more of a "regular guy" than The Captain...lmao....lol, no really, I'm not having too much fun with this analyzation......and dont get excited about Jeter, I respect and appreciated him as much as ANY YANKEE FAN. Makes the world go 'round....as vociferous as some may be in THEIR opinions....others have their very own opinions on the "big picture". After the press conference on Sunday - Michael Young, the ex-Texas Ranger and one of their all time "good guy" good players tweeted that he might not have lasted five years without Arod showing him and helping him work. There ya go....now scream and curse a little louder.
...I really thought McCann was going to be something. All things considered, I hope the Yanx and the Braves can work out something.
That's your opinion, you're most certainly entitled to it...and so are those fellas. May be hard to believe, but some just didn't and don't get their shorts all twisted because a player/person "threatened" to sue a doctor for missing something on a MRI (hip), his union for lack of support ---> and the League as his lawyers state: that it is "absurd" for the league to hand out such a lengthy penalty to A-Rod when Ryan Braun -- who does have a positive test in his past -- was suspended only 65 games, calling the league's investigation "abusive and borderline illegal." As Arod tested positive once (I believe), the low life punk Braun (failed twice) actually publicly accused and tried to blame his test results on an innocent fed ex (?) delivery guy. There were 100 other names on that list and only Arod's name was leaked....grand jury testimony information is supposed to be sacred....hope it doesn't happen to you. And regardless of his guilt, the "union" was silent as uncle Bud and MLB were paying off witnesses and buying information to target Arod....and that was mostly the issue....yep, he knew he was a user and he knew they may find the "goods" on him...but they were clearly SINGLING HIM out above other players, and THAT kind of thing usually gets the attention of a "Labor Union"....but they were very quite, as if they made a deal to sacrifice Arod....and I personally don't give two shits if he made himself look silly and immature trying to retaliate legally in defense of himself and the perceived witchhunt...and it was pretty darn close to being one. By the way.....his lies weren't a crime.....lol, I don't believe he raised his hand before he said them....sorry, but I'm not losing sleep over that one either...my apologies. Some hate him, some don't, and some just don't get too sanctimonious and all uptight over this.
. ...he started off this Spring on a hot streak that extended into the early part of the regular season...then all of a sudden he cooled off
Hey good news, Tyler Austin will be called up tomorrow with possibly another roster move or two. Another kid who has done well at AAA getting a chance. Yanks are kinda loading the team with "young players". It's happening here now....very good news they'll be getting a taste of ML experience through the "dog days" and September. If this team can find a couple of solid youngsters who can pitch, the Yanks just might be alive and very well in the near future.
Maybe Hicks has felt the heat from this board. He does seem a bit productive with the stick lately!!!
Everything aside the Yankees and the fans have given Arod a very nice moment here. I would hope he doesn't ruin it but trying to go somewhere else to chase homers. He has avenues open to him to still have a life in baseball.
Post game comments by Girardi..........he is visibly shaken and he's crying. The guy is under tremendous pressure and, I believe, it has come to a head. Never seen this ever!
Yep, that man has been caught between the devil and the deep blue seas since this season began. I'll credit Joe G for being loyal to his players but when they consistently fail it does not look good. True others have flubbed the dub but A-rodham has been more than a huge distraction to this Franchise since '13. Girardi. is going to be one relieved individual that this shit is over.
He personally likes Arod and has said quite a few times he and Arod have been through alot together. Girardi is feeling the pain and strain over the abruptness of how this came to an end and knows how much this inglorious end is stinging Arod probably as much maybe more than the PED issue because he was let go (cut) as a result of his baseball performance before his peers. Kinda ironic....he served his penalty, cleansed his conscious and ate alot of humble pie by publicly commenting and acknowledging his mistakes and bad decisions ...returned to baseball and now had the plug pulled out on the thing he loves the most. He has most definitely payed the price from both ends. I think all of those who personally hate him should sleep well.
