I guess Tanaka will not be opting out anytime soon.

It's Tanaka that has to figure it out or hit the bench. You can't be in the bullpen early every game. It's the same complaint every year when the starters just aren't giving innings. People want them out in the second or third inning like there's an endless supply of arms out there.

No life in the fast Layne, walks his first hitter loads the bases. Yankee Starters have really flubbed the dub.

Nice comeback by Layne to give them a chance the rest of the way.

I don't like the Tampa Bay Broadcast Crew so I'm following on ESPN Gamecast with detours to Yahoo Sports and there have been delays all day. Checked Play by Play and yes Layne made a nice recovery.

Anybody wanna bet that Tank man goes on the DL? OR maybe Cash man trades him?
Remember in ST many of us had him as the "ace" of the staff? Well fuck that thought right now!

Have the Yankee pitchers ever allowed the opposition to score in every inning?

And this plate ump is a buffoon not having the guts to ring up strike 3 punch outs making the pitcher throw down the middle. and now, a batter later this jackass behind the plate still hasn't cleaned off the dirt on the plate girardi threw. Total unprofessional as sanchez had to do it. This guy should be suspended and sent back to the minors where he belongs. Another out of control suckball umpire

Never saw an umpire not clean off home plate. Would have been interesting if pena pulled the team off the field until this idiot did his job. Now first thing he does right is throw out that pussy andriese for throwing at judge. Lucky for him judge has even temperament and didn't go out there and break him in half.

Scoring in all nine: 1923 Giants against vs Philly
    1964 Cardinals VS Cubs

Never done by or against the Yankees but they are damn luck it's not 13 or more today given the poor quality pitching.
