Chase Whitley, remember his debut game as a then Yankee pitching against De Grom debut for the Mets. Yankees won the game, Whitley never pitched well for the Yankees but he looked like CY Young against this club for two innings. embarrassing!

I would've just left the dirt on the plate if I was Sanchez. Not his job to clean it off regardless of what Girardi did. You tossed the manager you clean the friggin plate.

5545^^^^ Girardi & Rothchild must be glad they are not witnessing Whitley's mastery of these
Yankees. This ex-Yankee is salt in the wound. Genius Cash man has no answers!

Speaking of Cashman, I saw that Atlanta went out and got Matt Adams from the Cardinals to shore up their roster with Freeman out. My question is where is Cashman when deals like this come up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand the frustration but Tanaka's problems are not Brian Cashman's fault. The Yanks are stacked in the minors at the moment and guys like Judge and Sanchez didn't appear out of the thin air. In my opinion a foolish time to be getting on Cashman.

Going to really suck for us Yankee Fans living in the local teams area. And with Biggie pitching tomorrow given his record against the TB Team, we could see s sweep occur. Acutely embarrassing loss and performance by the Yankees Today.

I can't believe this but I just read something on Tanaka. He's the first pitcher in Yankees history with back to back starts of 6+ ER, 3+ HRs and 3IP or fewer.

Outside of Kevin Gausman in Baltimore Tanaka is statistically the worst starter in baseball right now.

Girardi lost it big time. The umpire's calls were part of it. The main reason for his explosion is the
deplorable way his pitchers are throwing of late. Yankees have lost 7 of last 10 games and pitching
    is to blame.

...Cashman is also responsible for the starting rotation roster...and we knew the starting rotation would be very iffy before the season started...there were/are options but none have come to fruition.
