As of today: Against Boston 5-7 Against Cracktown 5-5 Against Toronto 2-7 Against Tampa 6-6 Toronto due in for three, I believe no pitcher set for tomorrow back on schedule for the last two. The Starting staff in general does not go deep, too many fuckups in the pen before Clippard, Warren and the like. Play the remainder of the season do the best you can, still have some duds to get rid of between now and ST.
Severino, Go to Scranton Severino, Go back to New York Severino, Go back to Scranton Severino, when there's another DL guy we'll call. Dee Dah might as well keep him up there, Other than Tank there's not much for starting pitching. Eovaldi is still on the DL Correct???????????????????
His starts this season have been a disaster on the ML level. You cannot keep sending that out there while he approaches a 7 era. They have others they can bring up to take some starts.
Against Cracktown 5- Against Toronto 2-7 Against Tampa 6-6 _____________________ Toronto has owned the Yanks (13-6 in 2015) the past two seasons and with the state of the Yanks pitching it's easy to see it continuing in the near future, (2-7 this year). Yanks have managed to take only one series from Toronto since 2015 while Toronto has so far gone 20-8 vs the Yanks since last year including a couple of sweeps. If or when the Yanks begin to turn things around we'll probably begin to see them beat Toronto a bit more often....maybe something like when the Yanks began to turn things around in the mid 1990s and started beating the bash brother Oakland A's.....I seem to remember Buck Showalter having "issues" with Larussa and those A's teams having alot of "fun" at the Yanks' expense before the Yanks began putting it together. Who knows (?)....perhaps at some point next season the worm will begin to take a little turn.
Saw Judge standing next to Torreyes, a Giant next to a Midget, much like a promo pic of Betances hugging Altuve.... Judge made TB's 1st baseman Miller look like a little boy-high school kid...reminiscent of Winfield, (I hope)....
