I know Stanton hit a bomb today but the man has struck out 8 times in two games. I don't know how the rest of you feel but I'd say he needs to get that problem solved in a hurry.

Shit, Boone fooled me, did not think he'd send Seve out for the 8th. OK Seve roll on.

Almost forgot about Romine as the backup catcher. Always liked him. Deep roster when healthy.

I'll second that opinion on Romine. He and Sanchez are an excellent tandem and on days like this with Sanchez as DH and Romine behind the dish best of both worlds. A winning combination those two.

Just love those covering the Yankees think the bullpen has “hiccup” problems! It should be that
insignificant. ‘Hiccups’ my ass. Just the mention of Betances, Robertson, Holder and so on................
None can come in a tie ball game without shitting the bed. That’s how ugly they have been of late.
We won’t be seeking many 2 to 1 games from this group! And if we do, we will be on the losing end!

The thing I really like about Romine is that he realizes that he'll never be an offensive standout, but even so, whenever he finds himself in a 2 strike count he simply concentrates on making contact and seems to look for an outside pitch to slap to Rf...he does it over and over again...did it today too.
