What a fucking joke, 8-1 now & still only one hit. This is like a comedy of errors. And WTF was Didi doing just holding on to that ball while another run scored? I can't believe I waited 6 months to watch this shit.
...ya know, you've become inanely redundant every time you disagree with something I say...you pull this "ARod/Spring training" out of your ass every time...you use it as if it's some sort of reputable weapon...it's your lame-assed answer for everything...give it a fucking rest already. ...with all of the problems with this team, all you can talk about is ARod. ...secondly, you didn't prove me wrong about anything...ARod did. ...thirdly, my reference to the "hitting coach" had absolutely nothing to do with "scoring points with Long"...once again, the actual points escaped you...nothing new.
...difference in the game, aside from the obvious score, the Yanx have struck out 11 times...the Sox, 3 times.
It was also just a real sloppy game. At time I felt like I was watching the 62 Mets & they were more enjoyable.
this is how I preface my feelings about this Yankee season and we are only in the first week. Not looking good at all.
Sounds good to me- I agree. And ......although we ARE only in the first, I would say a win tomorrow would help take some first week pressure off. lol Good thing about the baseball season, unless you're in the final week of the season and you're 5 or more games out, you're still "alive". Tomorrow, tomorrow, you're only a day away....and the start of a winning streak....hang in there, I know it looks bad.....but.....157 games left and it could ALREADY be tme for the MGR to toss a chair -lol- and air some things out. I'm more concerned with the sloppy defense and seemingly lackadaisical approach.
We have an idiot at second who should be bagging groceries and the ass we paid $5 million to is worse.
Yes Rick, and we can/should(?) look upon Warren as an early season positive sign with reasonable hopes and ectpectationsn he can improve and become a valuable asset to the SP as a #5 SP.
Yep, could be also be possible our pitchers by and large will ultimately benefit and help the team over the course of the full season and may not require a lot of runs to help the team games because.....I just have to believe as the weather warms up, this CURRENT Yankee lineup/batters will score more runs off the other team's # 3-5 SP. Let's face it, there aren't too many all -world SP staffs..... Lol. Time will tell whether or not "our" lineup will get the best of the other teams' soft under belly SP staffs over the long haul, AND whether/how our pitchers hold up vs the other guys' lineups over the long haul......Holy Smoke, I've just laid out possibilities over the 162 game, six month season without providing any knee-jeek nasty, negative assumptions. Sorry to be so pragmatic. I'm kinda kooky that way....lol
