...lol..."pragmatic"?...uhhh, OK....the "kooky" part I get. ...as far as not providing "predictions", I seem to remember "92 wins".
Cut out the cheap shots and stop putting words in my mouth to try and prove some kind of irrelevant point in order to make you look "good", and me " bad". I said ....yes I DID, I believe the 2015 Yanks will win "APPROX 90" games ...and then you had the childish nerve to question what I meant by approx 90 games. And YOU predicted the Yanks to win in the 80's......I could be wrong, I could be right, either way I'll sleep tight...,I'm not so sure about you. Lol Stop acting like a petty little spoiled brat in a grown up body.
...what cheap shots?...what words did I put in your mouth? ...it's all factual and you know it..and I didn't question anything...I quoted you directly, and you know it. Here's what you said; "I said approx 90 wins which means it could also be a couple LESS or more wins."...your exact words....would you like the link? ...and "petty"?...hardly.
Lol, so when did "approx" 90 wins become an exact number such as the 92 total which YOU submitted? Think about it. Have YOU given an EXACT number of wins you expect from the Yankees? How about the EXACT number of wins the division winner will have? You DID put words in my mouth by citing a precise number of wins (92) which you claim I said. Now let's move on.....I'm well aware my assessment of this Yankee team could eventually be wrong/mistaken..... I have/had my opinion of expectations, and so have you. GO YANKS!
Okay, fine and dandy. I wish I could say "good luck" but I'm kinda expecting and hoping for a few more wins,
Well, now that you've mentioned it, that really is the bottom line, but not too many people can be thrilled when they're assumptions/ opinions and predictions regarding "numbers" are incorrectly injected into the equation. And this applies to other aspects of life and "negotiations". But, yes, I agree, in this case it's not going to hurt in the wallet.....possibly a credibility /knowledge issue but no bearing on the almighty buck on this issue. Thumbs up!
Bottom line, All Yankee fans regardless of generations, must be concern with the first 5 games. The trend as we see it could be reality. If I had to name players that would have an outstanding 2015, I would feel comfortable with about 2 or 3. Pineda, Ellsbury and Miller. And with 2 of the 3 facing health questions always, how can that translate to a winning season. I feel that a 500 Season would be almost over achieving for this bunch and more troublesome is that how the organization couldn't or should I say, wouldn't admit to it.
I think in the season to end all seasons (1998) we also started 1-4 but looking at that lineup I wasn't worried. That team was just to good (as was proven) to think they wouldn't turn things around. This current team shows no signs of being a competing team this year.
...uhhm, again, you said it yourself, dumbass...90 + "a couple more")(your words) = as many as 92. Are you now disputing what you said yourself?
