Just saw an ESPN Article A-hole wondering what it would have bee like had he gone to Boston. Praising the Red Sox on their current. The man is more full of shit than a septic tank. Would one buy a used car from that asshole.

we're not there yet kids, but, I hope A-Roid K's 4 out of 4 times, on outside low shit pitches, leave me with the one constant memory that comes to mind first/always when thinking of #13. He looked foolish trying to hit the low outside pitch, which he never could hit with any regularity...... too busy trying to pull every fkng thing, less a few hits that did go the other way.....

game on the line, bases juiced, and Tex at bat, the anti-thesis of exciting, rather another horror show...?

That Tommy Layne was released by Boston on Sunday, picked up by the Yankees, fucking Cashman still can't be trusted to stay away from the dumpsters.

^^^Yeah, I guess it would have made too much sense to give the roster spot to one of the youngsters.

Very annoying and perplexing why the Yanks aren't cutting loose these recycled below average relievers and filling these bullpen spots with young pitchers from the farm.
They could be getting valuable experience vs good teams.
Why the hell isn't Tyler Webb getting a good look for the remainder of this season as a LH mid-inning reliever? (or deeper)
    Webb-AAA:
    59.1 IP, 2.88 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, 66K, 3 HRS allowed.
    His last 10 outings:
    16.1 IP, 16 K 1.65 ERA, 0.93 WHIP

And they should give Ben Heller from the Miller trade a chance. All reports are very good.
    AAA: 28.2 IP, 29 K, 2.20 ERA, 1.01 WHIP

Yanks have to stop this revolving door of garbage middle relievers and insert a couple of their young pitchers.....maybe the team can play winning ball over the last month and half - certainly wouldn't hurt if the team and it's young players developed a winning attitude as a group heading into next ST and season.

Our Day Will Come. The youth movement has been long overdue, and such losses
are the exact growing pains that will make the Yankees rise again.
But dammit it sure hurts to lose to these damn sox!

Yankees need to spend the remainder of the season calling up their kids and let them Boogie Woogie. When I saw Layne come into last nights game (Gamecast) saw the Boston hat then found out he was released by Boston on Sunday I freaked. The Yankes need to be testing their own for the remainder of the season. Ype I hate it when this team loses to Boston.

Oh absolutely- it was a tough assignment facing the best offensive club in their home park and I could understand him getting touched up for a couple of runs but he couldn't make it out of the 5th inning.
His slider just wasn't sharp enough and he missed his spot a couple times with the fastball particularly on Pedroia's two run double which was the key AB in the game for Sevy.
Now his next start becomes even more important.
If he bounces back with a good outing all is well, kinda.....
...if he has another rough outing, the red flag begins to get hoisted, lol.
