Three hits usually do not get anyone a W....they were tight on D and they did not look sharp at the plate.

Cannot wait to see tomorrow’s lineup. Maybe he’ll bat Humpty Dumpty 4th.....if he’s not already broken!

...Nah, we can't do that, because well, it would make too much freaking sense.

I was stationed in Was DC in the late 1970's and went to a Heart concert. While they were on stage, I snuck past security and stood on a table to take pictures at stage level. Ann Wilson (the brunette) walked over to me and started singing to me. It was awesome. I took a bunch of pics of it but, it was a kodak 110, so, only a few came out. I'll try to upload one. Well, I couldn't find it but, here are some Yankee pics from Yankee Fan fest february 1997...Torre, Jeter (he had just won ROY award), Pepitone and Zim.

    ^^^^.....
Kids 2day don't believe or comprehend a fraction of the escapades of our atypical baby boomer lives.
From crawling atop the SF Giants dugout to get Willie Mays & McCovey's autographs, without getting tossed out of the park. To- cooking a blood rare steak for Frank Zappa, 10 seconds on each side.

Most of us here have lived lives which pass as Mythology to todays generation.
Sad indictment of the times imho...

Btw- those Yankee Pics are EPIC, thank you for sharing...~!!!~

    Game Recap-

Luckeeeee or a miracle to get the Win-??
A microcosm of the year in one game. Heavily Laden with sloppy errors. Sanchez still has not learned how to catch a ball. His postgame interview was so pathetic I could only take 2 minutes of it. Sanchez's lived in the USA for 8 years now and still has to use an interpreter WTF.

Torres could not see to catch a ball because his head was buried up his ass.

It has been said here all year, this team is anything but tight. Three hits and 2 errors, lucky the scorekeeper didn't make it 3 errors. Loose sloppy & anything but tight.
I have seen enough of Sanchez.

This team lives and dies by the long ball.

As stated prior this is not a playoff-caliber team let alone a World Series caliber team. If this team does make it to the World Series then God has no mercy or too much...

You're so right about us baby boomers. I remember all you needed was to write a short letter to any Yankee player (addressed to Yankee Stadium c/o the player) and ask for an autographed picture...and they would send it to you. For free!

I mean, the pic was B&W but, the players actually took the time to sign the pics and send them to you (1960's).

My Mom was a big Brooklyn Dodger fan and she said that the players would walk around Brooklyn and just hang out. They'd live normal lives among the fans (1950's).

I also remember Walt Frazier cruising around the city in his dark blue Rolls Royce (license plate: CLYDE, lol) and stopping to shoot hoops with people on the courts.

About the pictures, Thank you so much. I have others, Paul O'Neill, Jorge Posada, Mel Stottylemyre, Gene Woodling, Clete Boyer, Bobby Murcer, Gene Michael, Tommy John, Chris Chambliss, Ruben Rivera (Posada and Ruben Rivera were just coming up to MLB).

Thats all I can remember off the top of my head. Anyway, I'll try to find them and post them.

It's a pleasure & honor to serve Yankee Fans. The highlights on the norm aren't usually posted on the I-Net jntil 11-pm-
1-am PST, or in t/middle of the night EST.

Whenever t/YES channel posts game highlights, I try to post those because they're usually 6 to 9 minutes long and More in depth, but YES , usually does not post game highlights till late the next day... :smiley-marinesalute :tiphat:
