Earlier in season Yankees lost series in Cincinnati. Yankees need to win with a sweep payback! Let's do it!
Good to be back and watching my Yanks again after surgery for kidney cancer last week. Basically black and blue all over and doc says 6 to 8 weeks recovery. Felt so lousy haven't seen much if any action just relying on daily updates from my son. Hoping to be able to last most of the game tonight with you guys. Good news is doc took out the tumor in kidney and urinary tract area and although pathology report came back malignant the fact that it is out and margins are clear means cancer is gone. No chemo or radiation necc. Even though in a lot of pain and the abdominal area is on fire every time I breathe, bend or reach am very thankful how this turned out as could have turned out a hell of s lot worse.
...aww man...I'm so sorry to hear about this. At least the prognosis sounds very favorable and I hope you heal quickly...stop by and post when you can, Mel.
Hey Mel, hope everything post surgery goes well for you. You take care of yourself. Hoping the recovery and the healing process will ease your pain. Be well.

what a way to look at your life mel, holy cow, I had no idea of your condition. Geezus, I do hope for a sound, speedy recovery brother; as you endure. A blessing indeed to not require chemo or radiation. I've watched too many become dehabilitated by this scourge, ie cancer, chemo, radiation; although Tote's been a helluva lot closer to such than I. In fact you might want' to chat with him, as to his enduring DNA work with cancer, it's quit incredible as sounds like they're onto a close cure.....I believe. Hang in there bro'...!!! and a Blessing for You, always...! May you get well soon....
Thanks, Matt. Unfortunately, I have some experience with cancer and chemo radiation combo as I lost my wife 2 lung cancer 2 years ago this past x-mas. Its the worst thing to go thru both for yourself and any loved one that has the misfortune to contract this horses ass of a disease.
...solid outing by Monty. He's evidently got a deceptive motion in addition to having good command and good stuff...a lot of swing and misses tonight.
