I said it yesterday...and one more time....in these type of situations, up or down a couple of runs, give the ball to Lindgren BEFORE Carpenter.

This kid was drafted strictly as a reliever and has demonstrated to be a K machine albeit with a few too many walks.
Give him the dam ball and stop treating him like he's still wearing diapers.
Lets see what we have here.
Turn the kid loose especially with a multiple run cushion to start with, and get his career rolling....he could be one of those secret weapons (old school talk lol) we have on our hands.

I know he's a kid and I also know he needs to begin to have some "seasoning'.

...Gregorius...WTF was that?....that looked like little league shit...he had no chance on that play...the 2Bman had the only opportunity to throw the runner out...and DiDI cuts in front of him and tries a back handed flip allowing the runner to score.

    ...terrible, simply terrible.

Hey KC, Yanks took 4/6 from you.
We can score AT LEAST just as many runs as you, hit many more HRs, our SP has a lower ERA our 8th and 9th inning guys are as good, and maybe better than yours, our team ERA is not far behind and we're in first place.

Now get on your horses, and get the fuk outta town...and take the broom with you.

    GO YANKS!

3 and 3 homestand, still .500 no matter how you slice the cake, but hey we'll take the last 3 wins. Our old buddy Felix helped out today by kicking the local teams can. Oakland next, Yankees have had their problems with that bunch since '12. Need to see some changes out there.

Here's how I slice it - Yanks are 8-2 vs teams (Tigers, Mets, Royals) who they faced when those teams arrived with the best record in MLB....and if you want to include their current closest pursuer in the A.L East, the Rays....the Yanks are 14-6 vs all of them.

Yanks are hanging in there....and unless they come up with another 1-10 stretch, they're going to be okay.

Now - of course all bets are off if they come down with long tetm injury bug epidemics.

I had to laugh when some jerk face reporter asked Girardi during his post game press conference: "we you concerned, what did you expect from Arod facing Young".

Chris Young? Lmao...guy can't break a pane of glass with his best fastball.
His bubble was due to bust. Did you see his ERA entering the game?

Take a look at the ball, check the ball!

Should be ashamed of himself....has to be the largest, biggest, softest tossing SP in recent MLB history...lol
That'll be the day I'm surprised when Arod rocks this guy.

I didn't get to see today's game; had to take Kim to the Dr.

I would of never guessed KC could be swept by any Team, let alone a 14-1 shellacking in game 1......!!!

I cannot figure this Team out.........!!! Pretenders or Contenders??? So far Contenders, yet I really doubt the Yanx can continue winning a spot in PS, when they lost 10 of 11 games, prior to KC coming, then sweep the Royals, when KC took 2 of 3 games, on the 15th-17th.......(that much was the Pretenders)......

Hell, for that much, I can't figure out the Royals, Tigers, Rays, and half the other Teams this year. Too much see sawing back n forth, with most Teams.....

Lotta strange stuff going on out there, three teams were named in the 8 most disappointing areas of MLB thus far. Those would be Boston, Chicago Sox, and Oakland. Figured the Central would be an all team race excluding the Twinkies. Molitor and that old man Hunter has that team playing ball while Cleveland and Chicago are on the murky side. Houston rolling out west with Oakland and Seattle flubbing the dub. Texas is hot now but questionable pitching. Angels will probably be in there as well. I still think the AL East will be settled by whomever can pull off the best mid season trades, last years Cashman got some nice pieces then let them all go, don't know what his "plan is thus far has proved shaky. As my old buddy Alice Cooper once sang "We've Stll Got A Long Way To Go. I just hope the Christ someone in the Yankee Organization will make some nice moves.

    Yay......we're in first place ....yipeeeeeeeee

And the sour pusses are secretly gritting their teeth .....chomping on the bit to finally tell us - "we told you so" ...."this team just isn't good enough....there are other teams more capable of winning the division"..... arumph...rumph rumph"

    Lol

I totally agree with ya' Michael.......

The AL East this year, reminds me too damn much of the NL West over 10+ yrs ago, when the Pennant Winner only had to maintain a .500 Win Pctg.....

Tom Verducci in an SI article, made some absurd predictions; which are will be pretty off, (lest the Nats, but then they've been the hands on favorite the last 4 yrs).....

Verducci picked the Tribe to be the ALCS Champ, :nerd: and all I can do with that is:
    Fkn :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:
