    ...I'm sure there's many voters who have/will not forgive ARod...and personally, I don't think he should even considered since the perceived "come back" is from a situation that he himself created.

    ...fuck ARod.

    ARod isn't looking for awards or for that matter and extra media attention. To this end, I think the punishment has wrested the appropriate contrition. He's not due any absolution for this, and from what I see he gets this.

    I hear you Ron, for me the sad part is exactly as you say, he made all this happen. Rather than celebrating his accomplishments, fans will always wonder what could have been.

    ...I've brought up the fact a few times that I've had a hard time "connecting" with this team with the same passion I've always had before in years past...and I think ARod is the biggest reason why.

    Real ownership writes the big check, takes the hit financially and eventually profits more for taking the right stand. George's sons are failing his father's legacy.
