    ^^^... B Niju Ku- B-29 Superfortress.... one bad ass mothrfkr; “fear, calamity, affliction.” Raining fire hell and brimstone upon Japan....
    3, 970 B Niju Ku's were built, ntm- another 370 B-50's (a bit bigger version of the B-29. 2,032 B-49's Stratojets. 744 B-52's, etc etc...

    To think BMAC (Boeing Miliary Air Command) left Wichita approx: 10 yrs or so ago, packed up and closed shop in KS; the end of a long bygone era. We will never ever see such a thing again...

    Wichita, once the Aerospace capital of the world, (per captia of populace); my birthplace.
    In the 50's BMAC employeed approximately 60K Employees, (ntm-Cessna, Beech and McConnell AFB), in a City of approx 180K people. 1 out of 3 persons worked in Aerospace in the 50's in Wichita...
