    i understand the need for a day off, but do you really believe its a day off? these guys still have to be at the ballfield, in my day for a 7.pm start at 3:45, they take BP & Infield for bout an hour, go back for a shower and back out for game time, they sit on bench with the possibilty of getting called on for whatever the reason may be. Me, i'm there i would rather be playing... now, when the avg joe has a day off, they go nowhere near the job... to me thats a day off.

    Well the huge difference is Tex healthy and having an MVP type season and Arod not only returning, but having a huge season as well.

    Pasta, I get what you're saying. I just think that some
    players on this team perform better given time off from
    the actual game.

    Meanwhile, before we presume Warren being a possible potential solid reliable SP for the rest of the season- lets first hope he does his CURRENT job of being a good "7th inning" guy who can pitch an occasional 2+ innings when called upon in close games.
