I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…MLB is the ONLY sport that gives ZERO shits about the integrity of the sport by allowing morbidly obese, senior citizens be umpires. Every other sport refs are in shape and young-ish. In MLB they literally hand out flyers to Walmart greeters and go to The Villages in Florida and recruit umpires from there.
Bad enough the team plays like crap, screwball out of shape umps give the game a joke. And not in a funny way. This particular game is the epitome where baseball is going.
I get it with the umpire but this team is simply a train wreck right now. The starting pitcher hasn't been good and neither has the bullpen. Shouldn't need atleast 9 runs if they're going to win a game here.

All of Cashman’s acquisitions at the trade deadline are contributing negatively to this mishmash of a team. Tonight they will have lost 5 games in a row and falling. BTW, Toronto is now 9.5 games out of first. Twenty-four days ago they were 16.5 out of first. We are watching scary shit. A Cardinal sweep is complete.
Bring up some kids cashman and the CAC! It’s time. Just tested positive for Covid today, my head feels like it’s going to explode and have to watch this shit .So I’d I Umderstand the thinking of cashman and the CAC THE YANKS HAD TO SEND AND CONTINUE TO KEEP 2 of their best relievers Schmidt and Marinaccio because they have options and we’re afraid of losing pitchers like luetke And abreau on waivers. I say let some team pick them up. Who cares. This is part of the problem with this team. The other is keeping dead wood on offense like hicks, Torres and Gonzalez up here while we have better options down below.
