    Sacramento: Toronto's Castoffs.

(Yes, I know Rudy Gay went to Memphis first.)

No, I'd trade Dame before CJ.

No. I don't want DMC without McCollum and Damian. All three, or no Boogie, imo.

I realize we can't get boogie without McCollum, but we have a truly special backcourt. Can't break that apart.

I you KNEW you were getting DeRozan, I think you would have to seriously consider that. It would balance out the lineup and be so much more versatile. It would hurt to lose 3J's ability to create his own shot but it would also relieve a lot of pressure on Dame.

    Dame/Roberts
    DeRozan/Crabbe
    Aminu/Crabbe
    Vonleh/Harkless
    Cousins/Davis

That is a VERY solid 9 (give or take the pieces you would have to give up with CJ) and then you decide what you are going to do with Leonard and Henderson. Then you fill in 11-15 with Montero, Alexander, Connaughton etc.

Trade Aminu for a future 1st
4 Future 1sts, 2 Future 2nds, Vonleh and Plumlee for Cousins. Sign Horford and Parsons.

    Git er done Neil.

You guys really think Olshey would ever trade not only Dame's best friend, but our 2nd best player who makes up our arguably top 3 backcourt in the league? It's asinine.

Dame and CJ are untouchable imo.

No thanks. We're a better team today than that roster.

Well, except for Meyers Leonard, who he wanted to punch in the face the last time they played against each other and then supposedly couldn't remember the name of the guy who helped hold him to 4-21 shooting. When Meyers Leonard can get in your head, you've got issues.

Yeah lol didn't notice at first but literally one shooter on that starting squad. Would be a great lineup in 1984 though.

Just like Ruben Patterson got into Kobe's head so many times.

I don't recall hearing Meyers declare himself the Boogie Stopper. And unlike Ruben, who immediately got lit up for 40 points after he dubbed himself the Kobe Stopper, Boogie had his big games (56 and 48 points) BEFORE facing Meyers, not while facing him.

    DMC to Portland?

Don't play with Fez's emotions like that.

Sigh really don't want to see Cousins on the Blazers.
Rice would have to carry basketballs everywhere just to protect himself from Boogie in parking lots.

I think Cousins value isn't as high as people think. I do think he could be had for something like Plumlee, Vonleh, Aminu, 2017 pick, and the option to switch picks in 2019.

We lose defense and youth but obviously gain the best post scorer in the NBA (warts and all).

At that point we could re-sign Crabbe, Hendo, Hark, Biebs, and Roberts. Then bring in depth.

    Dame / Roberts
    CJ / Hendo
    Crabbe / Hark
    Davis / ?
    Boogie / Biebs

So CJ is better than DeRozan and Cousins combined? That is the only difference in the lineups. I'm a fan but that seems a bit optimistic.

Were better because that team would be Milwaukee Bucks 2.0 (no spacing)

That's a better fantasy basketball lineup. But in terms of winning games with those starters no we are better today. Spacing would be a big issue. Low efficiency volume offensive players don't complement each other. Many defensive problems. Same drawbacks we had with starting forwards this season.
